  Poppy is a 3 year old Lurcher . She has been kennelled outside for the last eighteen months but was house-trained when she lived indoors prior to that .

  Poppy's an extremely friendly and lively dog . She is used to young children and she loves anyone playing 'fetch' with her - either a stick or ball will do .

  Poppy is very submissive , rolling over whenever she meets anyone . She often does the same for dogs she meets when out and about. She doesn't like living in the same house as another dog , though. She is not trained to any great extent but her recall (when there are no distractions) is quite good. However , she's an excellent escape artist , so a decent sized fence will be required in any new home . Poppy has a Lurcher's instinct to chase cats.

  Poppy suffers from separation anxiety , so needs a home where someone is around most of the time and is willing to work patiently with her to alleviate this problem.

  Poppy would love to become an inside pet again , where she can take part in normal family life. She craves human company and simply wants to be someone's loyal and devoted companion.
