Rosie is a 9-year-old Border Collie X Bearded Collie. She is house-trained but not spayed. She may be middle-aged but she's fit and well and full of life and energy. Rosie enjoys long walks on the fells, showing no interest at all in sheep.

Rosie is a very loving dog and enjoys being petted and groomed for long periods of time. In the evening she settles down and is very peaceful until it is time to get up in the morning.

Although Rosie is generally a sweet and friendly dog, she can be very nervous of sudden movements and new environments and tends to suffer from anxiety. This tends to show as separation anxiety and barking which is making life in the kennels very stressful for her. She is also not keen on car journeys and can struggle with interaction with other dogs at times.

Rosie would need a special home with someone who understands her needs and anxieties. This would need to be a calm and quiet home with Rosie being the only dog where she can relax and enjoy a good sofa!

Rosie is a wonderful little girl who needs a little more attention and care but would bring a lot of love and friendship to her new family.
