Animal Concern Cumbria is a small local charity that exists to help find new
homes for neglected or unwanted animals.
It is the firm policy of Animal Concern Cumbria not to destroy an animal for want
of a home, except on the advice of a Veterinary Surgeon.
The Charity is self-funding and is run entirely by Volunteers.
Volunteers needed
We currently require a Secretary and a Fundraising Co-ordinator to help within the charity. A passion for the welfare of animals is essential, and experience in these roles would be prefered. For more details of the roles please contact: animalconcernwest@hotmail.co.uk

ADOPTION
If you feel you could provide a forever home for one of the animals currently in our care, please read our Adoption Policy on the General Information page.
A LIFETIME'S CARE
There are some animals in our care who, through no fault of their own, can never be rehomed. Animal Concern Cumbria will continue to care for these animals throughout their lives.
Funds are always needed for this and all our work; ways in which you could help can be seen on the Support Us page.

This website deals with the West Cumbria branch of Animal Concern, which rescues and rehomes dogs, cats and occaisionally small animals such as rabbits, ferrets and rats. The branch is based in and around the Workington area where we maintain a kenelling facility for dogs.
